Volunteering and
Fundraising |
Help Relate Build for the Future. Each year Relate helps over 70,000 people. More than half of all couples have one child under 16 who deserves a secure and happy family life without the trauma of parental separation. Locally, we use any money raised to help fund services for local people who cannot afford the full cost of counselling. Our major source of fundraising income is our charity shop in South Oxhey (see poster below). We need good quality clothes, bric-a-brac, toys and household goods (although we cannot take any electrical items). Please contact the office if you have items you wish to donate or take directly to the shop. We are also looking for trustees and other volunteers to support our work. If you are interested in either supporting us financially or by offering your time please contact us. For details about training to be a Relate counsellor please see 'Relate Counsellor Training' page. If you have trained to be a counsellor but no longer practice, have you thought about returning to counselling? If so, please contact the office and talk to the Centre Manager about opportunities we have at present. |
